wR(ight)ite In the Vote!

In lieu of the voting world and the political issues of the day.  It sometimes seems that the only political issue out there in the world is who will be the next president?  I think 'the media' is blindly leading the public in acceptance and heightening the continuity of the two party system in the United States.  I think the U.S., as the still growing/young democracy that it still is, with which we sometimes forget, needs to recognise the possibility of a fault in the Constitution?  Perhaps regarding how elections are to be carried out.  There are two ultimate issues here...long-played issues...nevertheless, extremely important.  First, the electoral college.  This is absurdity and really...the popular vote does not matter and if anyone can prove that it does...I'll send you a $10 gift certificate for eBay.  Second, the 2 party system in the U.S.  Other countries in the world who adhere to compulsory voting may have just the ticket.  I'm not advocating compulsory voting, but this election year 2008, is remarkably wrought with voters who do not like any of the candidates.  I am one of those people.  I am not sure who I will be voting for, if I even vote.  The candidate pool is not representative of the country's political makeup, and the electoral college is not repersentative of the country's political ideals.  I challenge voters to use that often forgotten about, Write-In Ballot and cast YOUR vote with true, unadulterated, noggin-induced penmanship.  Instead of giving in to the POLITIK propaganda found on every boob-tube channel. I challenge for someone to come back with originality regarding these issues and with ideas of their own in order to help voters become ALLOWED to be more involved; I look forward to your reply!!

Thank you
